I know this gets asked alot but will my system run BF2?

I'm running:
AMD Sempron 2800+ 2.0ghz
512mb DDR RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6 Series (6200) 256mb DDR

I was running a duron 1.3 but jsut got the sempron in hope of playing bf2

It should run it 1024 x 768 on Low with no shadows. Should be able to up to medium on some settings if you drop to 800 x 600. Can you stretch a little further to an Athlon 64 and better gfx card?

i'd get some more memory if you can afford to, not sure where your from but you can pick up 512mb sticks from £25 in the uk

Answer's right there. You'll be alright, but GET MORE MEMORY. I can't stress that enough.

Its funny how some people have flawless performance on 1gb and others on 2gb.

The initial studder and load times are usually cured with the 2 gig. Both my cousins run 1 gig and love it. I just get in a map a lil faster.

no offence but install the game instead then post when /if you have any problems.i defo get more memory though.
