Tell me it's not worth the upgrade right now

I'm seriously considering going from what's in my sig to this:
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe w/Athlon 64x2 4400+ and dual 7800GTX's.

Somebody here tell me it's not worth the investment. I run great now all high 4x 4x but I'm curious as hell as to what kind of improvement I'd get with the setup above, but I'll be pissed if I spend close to 2k on a modest increase.

it's worth the upgrade, the 7800gtx's seem to render better pictures.. The dual core might drop in price quite a fair bit because its new tech over the next year but it'll outlive any other AMD around at the moment.

If you can afford the upgrade then upgrade. But your pc is already pretty good. :)

Sounds like a biased opinion to me..:) I was planning on waiting for the X2's to come down a bit, but damn I'm just itching to have it.
