Questions regarding my new monitor

Hello,

I have just set up my new TFT monitor, and have some questions.

Currently I have the Omega Drivers installed for my graphic card, but I installed them with my previous monitor connected, and was wondering if I needed to uninstall them and reinstall them with my new monitor connected. Do the graphic card drivers not really have anything to do with the monitor, and should I just keep them installed as they are?

Also, I am wondering whether I needed to update my drivers for this monitor. I have found the driver download on the official site, but in the zip file there are 2 files, called 776.icm and al17xx.inf , but I don't really know what i'm meant to do with these files.

Any help is appreciated!



Also, my monitors display is 1280 by 1024, any other display and the screen looks really ugly, as BF2 dosn't support this resolution, i'm getting the screen a bit across to the left, with a black margin on the right. What do you suggest to do?

1. right click your game shorcut and select properties
2. in the TARGET line insert the following at the END of the line " +szx 1280 +szy 1024" without the quotes

Thanks, but does this work with every game? I've noticed it has the same problem with Morrowind as well. I'll give it a try.

Its the only solution anyone will give you. Basically you just change the execution perameters for battlefield 2 to make it run in any resolution you want.

This works bro, you just have to be very careful and put the spaces and everything in exactly like they are above.

or you can adjust the width and hieght of the screen in u screen options there should be a button on you moniter and it will bring up a little moniter works in game, casue it has nuthing to go with ur computer and adjust as needed.
