I turned on my computer this morning everything went well then i cant see the welcome screen or anything. Im on another computer right now since i cant see my screen on my X800 pro. Is there some conflict with an Nforce2 board and ATI X800 pro? I have the chipset drivers that came with the computer. Its an Nforce Board and Nforce2 chipset. I have 5.7's installed on the video card. Also i had to disable direct draw because my screen is corrupt if i dont turn it off. I have a 9600 XT for a back up card but thats the last card i will ever use again since its weak.Any ideas or suggestions on what to do? Also when i start up BF2 my screen flickers and cant see anything but lines. Should i just give up on my X800 and buy this card?

That card works fine with that chipset, and even if it didn't you wouldn't be having that error. We really could use more details but it sounds like you're video card bit the dust, see if it works in another pc and see if another card works in that pc too. -
I have a backup card. A 9600 XT
. Anyway i installed that and it was the X800 . Anyway my mouse lags on screen when im on my desktop. Sometimes it moves sometimes it freezes to the point where i can move it any ideas?

Try reformatting since it could be spyware/virus, But before you do that try the x800 in another computer. Keep us updated, i've been looking for a new card to buy, and the x800 is one of them.Comment

I reformatted this morning and seems to be fine now. I have Mcafee anti spyware installed, Norton Anti Virus 2005, Adaware personal, and windows XP firewall. There isnt a virus, trojan horse, spyware, or adware that can get on my computer now. And spyro BUY THE X800! Its number 2 in my book of good video cards. I checked the stores where i live best buy, circuit city and they dont have an x800 or an x850 XT. They told me they sell fast although they have been out for a while. Circuit city where i live all changed over to pci express computers. They got rid of all their AGP slot computers and all bought PCI express cards like the X700 and the 7800 GTX. I run dual monitors on my x800 both 22". The cheapest i seen an x800 was $369 US. Btw the x800 takes up a lot of power so a 350 watt power supply or more would be effcient. I have a 550 so im not worried.Comment
