My CPU's temp when playing BF2 is 60-65c

the normal temperature AMD is 60
and P4 is 50-55 so your temperature is ok

No, infact your prescott is one of the hottest CPU's out there.

Please tell me what if any thermal grease you applied to the processor? And what cooling solution are you using for it?

Speed fan

Have you tried speed fan? It monitors tempatures of your computer and the fan speeds. Really great program to monitor temps and fan speeds. If a temp is too high an alarm will sound letting you know. At the time of posting this my CPU is at 29 degress celcius. I have 4 120 mm fans and 2 80's for intake. The 120's are for intake and exhaust as well.

your all stupid. That temperature is fine. He doesnt need to waste his money on any cooling at all. Nothing is going to go wrong at that. I had an old AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4ghz, that ran around 70 C for years and it was fine. Danger point is 85, so as long as its below 75, which it is, i wouldnt worry about it.

So Dont Worry About it. You temperature is fine, if its at 60-65 under high load.

Once an XP 2400+, hits 80°C, it's ganna burn out.. easily.. Grab another fan or somethin, put a house fan next to your ****.. Cuz 60°C is pushing it... Heatwave here as well, bumpin 95°F and my **** is running at 45°C idle and 51°C loaded... Usually, 38°C idle, 42°C loaded... Just try and fix it to save yourself, even if it's "ok to let it go all the way up to 85°C which is 185°F... 185°F is what? Able to catch on fire =D
