    Hi everyone

I found this forum when I was searching for a fix because my maps weren't loading. I am 13, almost 14. I'm from Massachusetts and I love the Battlefield games. My in game name is novolog. It comes from a type of insulin inhalant. This seems like a great place and I hope I fit in well.

I had that problem recently, the game would crash when it had got to 60%. Here is the fix.

      http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread....8654&tstart=60

Again, this is a radial.cdb file problem, You need to delete this hidden file and your problem should be sorted.

/the file is used for the in game ads so updating it may cause problems.

      Simply follow this process:

      Program files
      BF2142
Click 'tools' 'folder options' and then the 'view' tab
Check the 'show hidden files' tab and uncheck 'hide extensions for known file types' & 'hide protected operating system files'
      Click apply & ok.

The radial.cdb file should now be visable. DELETE it.

Dont worry, the next time you open bf2142 the file will be recreated without any corruption and you should load your maps with no further problems.

If you have load issues in the future follow the above steps again.

I would reccomend reversing the view option as noted above once you have deleted the file though as it will make your folders clearer.

      anywho....
      Welcome.

Yep, I found that fix and then decided to register :) Thanks for the help anyways! Also thanks for the tip on reversing the change. I just thought about that when I read that now.

Welcome and hope to see you on the battlefield (though for the time being I'm probably just gonna play First Strike).

            :salute:
