I was playing a game while scanning for spyware and i went to minimize the game so i could check the scan and my computer froze so i restarted it my monitor showed it couldn't find a signal but i could hear vista booting up. I went in safe mode changed drivers just to see if that worked and still nothing. I even reinstalled windows and when i went to install the driver again same ****. Please help me. Ok a message came up to restart to apply the changes and i did it now booted into vista and it found my card (f()k yes) now a message came up found new hardware windows needs to install drivers for 8800gtx bla bla i've done this before and it took me back to square one is there a way to check which exact driver i have?

uninstall current drivers, did the video card come witha cd? install the drivers from the CD, if not dont install the same driver that you are attempting to

There are new drivers out for Vista for 8xxx series
