    help

    i just built mycomp and wen i turn it on it only stays on for lke 3 secs then turns off. the light on mobo is still on. i changed the input thnig on the back of psu and that made it stay on a little long. any1 have any ideas on wuts wrong??:cry:

    does it go beep or beep beep? then read the manual to find what the "post" msg means.

      ok i have every thing pluged in and when i turn the power switch on in the back it makes a beep sound till i turn it off.

          the beeping isnt coming from the mobo its from the power supply.

            what psu is it? never heard one go beep ever?

              its a rosewill 600w 1 fan crome and its not on newwegg any more.

                http://www.rosewill.com/support/trouble_shoot.aspx There is no mention of beeping PSU so it must be coming from the mobo. Anyway. Google the meaning for those beeps. It helps if you know the maker of your BIOS (Award, Phoenix etc.)
