My game play increased dramatically when I got my G5. Especially with the customizable weighting system, along with the adjustable dpi (great when you're trying to turn a tank or the rorsch).

Also, I got my G5 for $25 from Dell's website (some special 50% off coupon at the time).

My accuracy have literally doubled since I got the G5. Not all of that increase is from the mouse alone but it definitely played a major roll. A big boost to my accuracy is the mouse-click alone which is much lighter and has a much quicker return than my old mouse; a lighter click means less movement of the mouse while firing... especially when firing in quick repeated bursts, and a quicker return means you can fire more bursts in the same amount of time.

I've said this before in a different thread but here it is again... get yourself a decent mousepad to go with whichever mouse you have. Try out a bunch of different ones and you'd be surprised what a difference a good mouse pad can make to your gameplay.
