Hi guys i carelessly bought 3 twin packs of the coolermaster silent blue led fans and after i opened them up i realized the connectors are 3pin on my motherboard i only have room for 5 of these fans. Is there any way of getting a cable or a connector so i can plug it in the psu?

i thought u plugged them into the psu anyways not the mobo. never heard/seen fans hooked up on the mobo only for cpu fan -
Have a look at your mobo you might see some it's like a 3pin thing like hwat u plug the standard cpu cooler in.Comment

You can do both. Put them in the mobo which in turn gives the control of fans to applications in Windows to regulate their speeds. That is if the app can use the specific part of the mobo. This way you can set up different cooling schemes for watching movies or playing games.
Or plug them in the PSU and then they will always work at 100%Comment
