No battlefield for the past 5 weeks :(

Well ive been having issues for the past 5 weeks with this machine, crashing freezing BSODs and have finnaly narrowed it down to 8800+680i+drivers = fail

so i need some help ive been working on this nonstop to try and fix this and dont know where else to turn.... please help

Specs:

EVGA nForce 680i T1 motherboard

EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB

RAM PNY pc2-5300 @ 667MHZ (replacementuntil my RMAed RAM gets here)

Raptor 10k RPM 150GB HD

Core 2 quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz

NOTHING is overclocked all at stock speeds

If you can play single player without problems then you and I have the same problem. You have an XP?

Ever since I got 8800GTS my multi player experience has been CTDs for some very weird reason. But honestly I'm starting to be past 2142 so I don't mind that much.

I had similar problems, it ended up been my USB Cable modem that was causing the problems, changed to Ethernet and no trouble since. It's probably something small thats causing your problems. You tried swapping PCI Slots?

I had a friend who had random BSOD's mainly when playing games, he Re-seated the Graphics card in another PCI slot and it worked fine, He was using an ASUS board, He told them and he got another.

no it doesnt matter if its SP or multiplayer and its not just battlefield, i heard it was driver related so i tried atleast 5-6 drivers which is what EVGA told me to do and i either god BSODs or artifacts...

god i put in my 7600 GS and reinstalled the 162.18 and when i loaded 2142 i got a black screen and a no signal on my monitor... please can someone help
