Im going to make a prediction on what everyone else will say "Upgrade That 8600 To An 8800" or something like that.

Do yourself a favor and get PC6400 (DDR2 800MHz) mem sticks. They pay the same as those in your selection and are faster. The timings might be better in your sticks (did not bother to check up) but so it could run even with DDR2 800 sticks with lower timings but higher speed. But to be on the safe side get the PC6400 package. Most mobos don't put the tightest timings (which your selected sticks allow) with auto settings and since you are asking about the set up here you don't ring like a guy who's comfy at tweaking BIOS settings to get the timings right even when it's a breeze. And as a added bonus you can squeeze more juice out of the PC6400 version of those sticks later on since they are quite capable ones.

Otherwise the setup looks ok if you are really getting the 8600.

Here's a newegg link with 2x1GB DDR2 800 (PC6400) with Cas Latency 4 which are fast. These will be very good.

I would probably jump on those Crucial ones since they are ridiculously cheap package and we are talking about good memory maker here.

the thing is i have a 17 in screen and im not going to upgrade it and later when the 8600tgs go down to like 90 or 100 i will buy another 1 or when i cant play on that good of settings
