Which of these 2 PSU’s should I get?

I am looking at upgrading my graphics card soon to a Nvidia 8xxx or I may even wait for the 9xxx, but first I need a new PSU. Which of these 2 PSU’s would you go for and dose any one have one.

I have the OCZ... It's a really nice power supply and has plenty of power for everything in my system. The 8800's take quite a bit of power to run, so I would stick with the OCZ out of the 2 in your list. The extra 50 watts doesn't sound like much, but you never know. The only complaint I have with that powersupply is that the cables arent modular. It would clean up the look so much better.

But you have to think in the stability, quality and stuff, you can buy a 1000W very cheap and will die in a week.

I'd take the Corsair aswell, i've currently got my eyes on it aswell. I need to change PSU.

That Corsair has been able to run SLi 8800GTX's, so it isn't lacking in power.

Not really, considering the hardware inside is almost 100% identical to my psu.

I have been looking at reviews on the OCZ GameXStream 700 watt and they always do very well. Here's a review I found helpful if any body’s interested.

I also thought the Cosair was expensive, even though I know it’s a very good PSU. I think it’s expensive when I can get other very good PSU cheaper.

I found Play.com selling the OCZ GameXStream 700 watt for £73.99 delivered, which I think is a bargain! So I have ordered it from there, it’s out of stock at the moment, but I’m in no rush to get it.

The Corsair is brilliant value, I can't understand why people think its expensive :S

Its better quality than the OCZ GameXStream 700 and is only a few £ more.

Compared to a lot of other PSU’s around the 600 to 620 range, £90 is quite expensive and especially when I can get other good quality PSU’s for less. Plus the Cosair is the best part of £20 more than the one I have ordered. Which is a bit more than an few £’s.

I’m sure the OCZ will be more than adequate for my needs.
