Battlefield 2142, internet usage chugger?

Since I started playing bf2142 I have noticed my usage per month has increased.

Does this happen to other people? Is there a way to find out how much downloads it is using?

It's really dumbfounded me.

I dont think it uses that much, according to my G15 network usage monitor im only isung 3-5kbps while im playing 2142.

BF2142 doesn't use that much compared to other games. Although it could be down to downloading patches. Have you recently downloaded any patches for BF2142?

On a 3MBPS connection, and an average play of lets say 1 hour.

i dunno whether the advertising uses up much bandwidth, but i remember back in the day that even quake3 would sometimes munch up to 7k/sec

I believe that BF2 uses about 100kbs on avg... I would imagine that 2142 would be similar... maybe more with the ads and the sign monitoring?

I just looked at my usage. I used 236mb in a 3 hour span of playing battlefield 2142. I shat bricks.
