    New PSU

I'm planning on buying a HD2900XT and I see that I will need 2 PCIE connectors= 1 6 pin and the other 8 pin, the thing is that mine only has the 6 pin so I'm stucked and will need a new PSU, I have looked all over but can't find one or I'm searching in the wrong places, anyway if someone can help me find one of those it will really help.:)

Don't buy a 2900xt, unless you like paying extra for a card thats slower than a 8800gts, yet uses more power than my gtx.

If you are dead serious about 2900hd then I can vouch for www.seasonic.com 650W and upwards. They got 2 PCI-e connectors as default. Plus most of the high profile PSU makers will include a 8-pin also.

I'm not one to judge, But I am sure the 2900XT is far better than the 8800 GTX.

The drivers for the 8800 GTX are horrible, Catalyst drivers are always promising.

And being an 8800 GTX owner thats what I think, Anyways on to your help. I would recommend this PSU.

You can be "sure" all you want, but when the 2900xt gets beaten down by an 8800gts again and again and even in crossfire against a single gts you'd have to be a complete fanboy to even consider that card, especially with all the downsides it have. Sure the drivers can be wonky for my gtx sometimes, but I've never had any serious problems in xp pro or vista ultimate x64.

As for that psu, I wouldn't get it. Go for this corsair, its the same price but is almost identical (hardware wise) to my pc&c 750w silencer (which costs $200).
