Hell, For a few more dollars what you spent on a 8600 GT. You could have got an 8800 GTS which out performs it a lot.

The 8600GT sucks really hard!The 8600GTS is better and the 7900GS beats it!

Wait for : 1) Back to school sales in Aug or 2) Xmas selling season to start around mid November. You'll see some price drops, new product from AMD, etc. You'll always pay way more than you need to if you jump in early in the product cycles. Your current budget will buy you a lot more computer in 3 months' time. Unless you can't play at all or a component has failed, what's the hurry? Think how smug you can feel getting the same tech for less $ LOL.
