Which tablet to get?

I am looking @ getting a tablet during boxing day/week.


thinking about ipad2 or one of the asus eee transformers with the keyboard bundle.


Does anyone have any feedback on tablets for which is best to buy?


I basically would like to have something more mobile than my G73 asus laptop and with more battery life but be able to still have some fun with it.

Ipad 2 scares me about the flash, but I have never actually used something without flash so it is hard for me to have an idea of what it would be like without flash.


Also i am interested in a device with a SDHC slot.

any advice?

pick up a copy of the Dec 2011 MaximumPC magazine. they have a buyers guide/review for tablets.
as far as external ports, i think the lenovo thinkpad tablet offers the most, including a SD slot.
