As you may know I had an issue with the DDR Overvoltage light earlier this year. For some reason, that went away, and I don't have an answer why. Now, Its come back again, but I don't know how to fix it.
Basically what's happening is that I cannot boot up my PC. After I got my new heatsink and installed it, it doesnt boot. The fans start moving for a second, then it just stops and the DDR overvoltage LED lights up yellow (moderate).
What do I do? The internet hasn't been very helpful, or Im just not looking right, Can someone tell me what is wrong?
Full specs for recap:
GA-X58A-UD3R MoBo
i7-930 2.8ghz
Radeon 6870 gpu
Antec TP 750 watt psu
WD Caviar 2TB SATA drive
And a new Cooler Master 212 CPU cooler.
Edit1: Sorry, forgot to mention a critical part: 2x 4gb Kingston DDR3
I'm not sure what else I can say, as I'm still learning. Any tips will help guys.
Edit2: I have tried removing one stick of Ram, same result, Both sticks, same result. Do I need to try a full troubleshoot?
