You're also ordering from newegg, right?.
Let me know how the service is with shipping, time and everything.

Since I have to order and use the address of a buddy who lives at Dallas I need to give him all the details on how the shipping is handled.

      Thanks.

I agree with CC. I ordered my parts Monday morning from NewEgg and put the 2.99 rush delivery on it and it got here on Tuesday afternoon.

            From newegg:
90% of customers receive their order within 2 days.
99.9% receive their order within 3 days.

I have literally spent thousands at newegg and even rma'd a thing or two with no problems. I know during the order process if your shipping to a different address they may want to verify that somehow.

                  That video was fantastic!.
I'm ordering the DVD drive I'm going to use first, and if it arrives correctly I'll order the whole shebang at once.

quick question, what's the difference between this 2 cards ... besides the price difference..

                  Card 1

                  Card 2

Re: It's time for my new PC! .... help!

                    The Asus has:

higher clock speed. 782 vs 772.
hdmi, display port, and dvi x2 vs the evga's mini hdmi and dvi x2.
3 yr limited warranty vs the evga's limited lifetime warranty.
bigger physical size over 0.75 inches longer and 1 inch wider
takes up 3 slots vs the evga's 2 slots.
                    dual fans
dual 8 pin power connectors vs the evga's 6 pin / 8 pin

2 of those asus would probably cover all the pci slots if you ran sli.

Already received your order? that was fast...
How big are the boxes that the items came in? Do they pack 2/3 items in a box? or is it a single box for everything?

All my stuff was delivered within 3 days of ordering. It came in 3 boxes from different locations. I think the cpu and cooler came from CA and the other stuff from NJ.. the boxes are about 16x12x8 inches, but over the years it seems they've had different sized boxes.

Yeah, I think newegg just uses a standard size box for everything small. There has been a couple times Ive ordered just some RAM and it came in boxes that were about 16 times the size.

So boxing isn't an issue :)

Only thing I hate from the US is they don't show taxes until you checkout, I'm paying 107 from taxes. So I need some help from you guys.

The PSU I had on the list is this one.

We’re sorry, but this page does not existing. Please visit our home page for more information.

I know I must not cheap out on the PSU, but let's face it, this one is very expensive...

Can someone help me find a similar one, with same wattage 850 and modular? I'm powering a GTX580 and not planning on SLI at least for a year, so maybe a lower wattage psu?

If I SLI in a year, I might just buy a new PSU ... or should I just buy one that can handle it now?

I was thinking about this one, but I know crap about PSU's. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171048

Also has anyone used a Zotac GPU? ever heard any good from them? They showed it at some BF3 video at GameTrailers and I wonder if its the one they are using to power up the game. Why am I asking this? I've read tons of reviews that the EVGA single fan is not that good... don't know what to do, shoud I try Gigabyte? MSI? Jesus, this is so complicated lol.

Thank you for your patiencewhile handling my noobness guys :).
