Will EA hand out downloadable games without CD key?

Because... I somehow lost my copy of BF:BC2 and I rebooted my computer.
I still have the CD key but I purchased mine from Target and not Steam so I'll require the physical CD.
Anyone know a way to bypass this or what not because none of my friends play PC so I can't burrow one. Thanks.

Go to support.ea.com/chat , you need an EA account, tell them your disc is lost/scratched whatever, but you have the CD key, they'll ask for it, then they'll add the game to your Origin Account and you'll be able to download it.

That happened with my BF2142 CD, I did what I posted, except it was named EADM instead of Origin, and in 10 minutes I was already downloading the game :).

You can add keys yourself in Origin, try "Redeem Game Code" under options

I talked with EA's Tricia, she told me to take the situation to the Retail store in which I told her that it's been over a year and a half so the retail won't do squat.
O well, I think I might just have to go to the after school gaming club if some nerd can lend me a copy for the night >.<

I shoulda registered it but I was too lazy >

Wow, thanks seargent mattbaker! I logged back on tonight and I said the same thing but this time a new person was able to help me retrieve it. She even help me download EA's new Origin, a Steam like ap. The other person was like, I'm so sorry I wish I could do more to help you... Do you think she was lying or did I not say something correct. Oh well, I got my game back so I'm happy! See yall on the battlefield!

Depends on the mood of the person at the time and how the question/problem is asked, I normally help customers the most I can, and even then bend the rules, but if I get a rude customer I won't go above and beyond for them. Not MyIS btw.

My cousin broke his NorthenStrike cd and i believe he requested help at EA's support forum but i'm not sure of what he did next, but i am sure he downloaded it through EADM
