    Laptop/notebook

Right, I'm off to uni in about a month and I'm in need of a laptop. It will mainly be used to taking notes, listening to music and use for MSN.

I have no idea what im doing with laptops/notebook/netbooks. Hence why im asking here.

    My budget is £400.

Currently got my eye on http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-g62...53071-pdt.html

But I'm not sure its worth the money, and that i might regret buying it once i get to uni.
Is it worth going for one at the top end of my budget if i'm not Gaming?

If your going to be taking it to classes, or carrying it around a lot, I would go with something 13.3" or smaller. most laptops under 13" will not have cd drives so take that into consideration.

I think i will go with a 15.5 inch due to the fact i keep buying music Cd's, so i will need a way of putting them on it, And i dont want to fork out for a external CD drive.
