Need a new mouse

Now my Lachesis is on its period. I need a new mouse. I like the Lachesis's shape and button placement and everything, but it's not working right. Don't want another 518, they've all been unreliable for me (I don't care about how yours is).

So suggestions?

ETA, sorry, no serious suggestions, since I think my own mx518 is the greatest mouse ever.

I love my G500. I really liked my G5, but the free wheel makes scrolling long pages so fast and smooth that I can't go back.
I may end up getting another G500 for my computer at work it they're only $40 right now...

I love my G9, it also has the free mouse wheel scroll as Expletive mentiond, has two different covers one for general use (which I find very comfy for browsing etc.) and another for gaming which is made of some star trek material that supposed to stop your hands getting sweaty/clammy.

My only complaint is it doesn't have buttons on the right side that could be operated by ring/pinky finger

I love mah G9 too :) Excellent mouse, comfy as hell, all the buttons in the right place, great dpi capabilities and looks sexeh.

I had my G5 for about a year, got the G500 about 6 months ago. My wife has had her Mx518 since BF2 came out. No, really. She wanted to be able to switch sensitivity on the fly between choppers, infantry, and tanks because she got irritated at how they all handled. So she bought a "gaming mouse" for the first time and she's used it non-stop for over 5 years. I keep switching mice just because I can.

I dont remember when I bought it, but it came with a free BF2142 mousepad, so it was a while ago.

I've had my G9 just under a year after the scroll wheel on my Razer Copperhead died after 3 years.

Why don’t you go for a Roccat Kone. I have been using it for 6 months. It’s one of the best and the most advanced mouse that i have used.
