Chipset won't install. Admin issues Windows 7/M4A79 Deluxe.

I'm having trouble installing my chipset drivers for my motherboard. I'm running an Asus M47A9 Deluxe on Windows 7. When installing the chipset drivers, it appears to go smoothly, but when it finishes I get an error stating "Finished with 1 error". After I click view report, at the bottom says(Going to paraphrase) "Failed: User must be part of the Administrator group". Funny thing is, I am an Administrator. I've tried right clicking and running as administrator, I've tried enabling the built in Administrator account on W7 and try from that account, but nothing works. Any advice?

EDIT: Let me also add that everytime I attempt the install and it fails and gives me this error, Windows won't boot and I have to system restore each time.

try disabling the UAC then see if it will install properly.

Click start and type "uac" into the search box, i have mine permantly on never

Yeah, I always have UAC disabled, so it's not that. I can't figure out what the hell is wrong.

afaik there are 2 sources for amd chipset drivers, 1 from Asus istself and another from AMD, I suppose you can try posting on the Asus support forums and the AMD mobo forums.

Out of ideas beyond that.
