Irritating Punkbuster

Punkbuster lags every game I have. I know this because If I join a non-pb server, everything is smooth, aside from flying enemies.

This happens in Cod4, Cod5, & BF2.

I've searched for an answer but I haven't come across a solution. Many people are having this problem I think.

I'm assuming you tried manually updating punkbuster?

Have you changed when punkbuster responds to the server? You do this in all those games by opening the console and typing in "pb_sleep 500" then type "pb_writecfg" to save it.

I've tried setting it to 20 and 500 with no effect.
