    Question on PCIE

Hi guys. I have question about PCIE compatibility. See I want to get a 5970 and it says that it has a PCIE Express 2.1 interface. The problem is that I want a Corsshair III Formula mobo and it says it has a PCIE Express 2.0. Is the PCIE 2.1 5970 compatible with the PCIE 2.0 mobo? Here are the links to see.

You don't think the 5970 is a little expensive for what it is?
