32bit or 64bit OS?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

My question is:

When installing Windows 7, is it better to install 64bit or 32bit version?
What are the advantages/disadvantages (apart from the 4Gb memory limit)?
Are there any compatibility issues?

I am asking in relation to playing BF:BC2 when it is released.

Move to Tech Center.

1. 64 Bit.
2. That reason is enough.
3. Only if you are using specialized industry-specific peripherals (in which case, you would still be using xp). None with gaming.

Any retail version/promotional version comes with two disks.

And as for OEM that have been preinstalled onto a laptop/desktop... almost none come with 32bit anymore. At my Best Buy, there's only like 3 laptops out of 20 that are using 32bit 7 and all the desktops use 64bit.

Well as per my opinion on the windows 7 OS so I would suggest windows & 64 bit version, I used 32 bit version but it was not good to compare with 64 bit, Still I working with windows 7 64 bit version and I a very satisfied to use it,
