Anyone running the X-25 or a similar SSD? Likes/dislikes?

I'm in the process of putting together a new rig, getting lucky with the sales recently. i jumped on the Dell 24" monitor sale, and just picked up the 80 GB Intel SSD during a Newegg Shell Shocker sale (USA morning sale today) for $50 off! Was $289, got it for $239 (£183).

I personally don't, but this is what my magazine says (briefly):

This huge amount of latency (up to 284ms) will rear it's ugly head as annoying pauses when you're using the drive, making the new X25-M a very annoying drive to use. While it's nowhere as near as bad as the old JMicron based SSD's, this latency is very noticeable compared to the almost instantaneous Indilinx or Samsung based drives, which typically have a write latency of about 10ms. As a result, we can't recommend the new X25-M, despite it's TRIM support and Intel driving down the price aggressively.

I am considering SSD for Win 7, but haven't tried it yet.

Those anandtech articles are amazing. So detailed and whatnot. Make sure if you get one, it's the G2 SSD. I'm definitely picking one up soon.
