So, this morning when i booted up my comp all was going well until I saw my CPU Temp (through Speed Fan) and it was sitting @ 59 C ... which is about 10 C higher then normal. I dont know why the sudden jump, I have gone in and cleaned the little dust that existed, made sure the CPU HS+F was seated and hooked up properly, and it is still continuing to run in the 59 - 64 C range which has me a little worried. Can anybody think of any reason why this could be? Any help is appreciated

No idea, unless when you checked it you knocked it and it moved it just enough to cause this. Might be best to reseat it, do you have anymore thermal paste to do so?Comment

Nah, its long gone ... Ended up giving the rest of the tube away to a friend after i was done with it. Might go pick some up though and see if it helpsComment
