TV suggestions?

So I need a new TV for my dorm room and my dad suggested this. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...S&Sp=C&topnav=

Are there any better TVs for around the same price? This TV will mainly be used for cable television and gaming consoles, mostly my 360, maybe others if I get bored. Also, it's supposed to be an energy star brand or something to help save electricity.

This is probably really obviously answered, but when I look at the Tv measurements at websites, what order do they put the measurements in? Length, width, Height? Googling so far has been of conflicting info. D:

Yeah that's right. Don't they teach you that at school anymore?

By the way it might be worth looking at TV cards for your PC if your dorm room has the cable for the TV already installed. Would save money and space :)

Well if you ever see a TV that just has one measurement, then it's the measurement of a diagonal line from one corner to another.

Just to make sure I have this right, width is typically first (and the largest, usually), then height, and then the depth/thickness of the TV.

Lol, Enigma, I sorta remember learning Length by width by height in like elementary school, but I rarely ever had to use it after learning it. Also, somewhat unfortunately, the cable connection does not come with a cable attached, so I don't think your TV card option would work. D:
