    Spec me a monitor.

    Budget: ~£300
    Size: 22-24"

Initial thoughts have been to Samsung/Dell, but I've heard good things about Asus too.

Also, am I going to have to upgrade my graphics card to run at the bigger resolutions (1920*1080)?

Yup, that card isn't going to do well on newish games at 1920x1080/1200.

I recommend something with 1GB GDDR, especially for high resolutions, texture heavy games or high amounts of anti aliasing. After that, then I would buy a new monitor.

A 4850 1GB can be had for ~£100 leaving you ~£200 for a monitor (which is what I got my 24" Dell for (albeit on sale))

        I now have a 4870 1 GB.

Probably going to get the monitor tomorrow, any last suggestions?

Find the monitor which is best for your home office. Ebuyer has a great selection of 24 and 25 inch monitors with great ergonomic features and finance options.

          Probably your best bet.
