    Cold Cathode installation.

Dumb question i know, but when i mean install, i mean mount. I know how to hook it up but how do you mount it to the inside of your case? does it come with those adhesive pads?

Oh and if its not too much trouble, does anyone know how to make it sound activated? I've seen one and thought it was the coolest thing EVER.

    EDIT: Forget the sound thing

They just come with a double sided piece of adhesive. You stick one side to the cathode, one side to the case. Always try to mount them somewhere out of direct view. It means you get the nice lighting effect without seeing the bulb itself which is very, very bright.

As for sound, you'd need a special type of cathode.

No, you just need a special type of inverter which has a sound sensor built in.

Buy LOGISYS Computer CLK15GN 15" Green Deluxe Sound Activated Cold Cathode Kit with fast shipping and top-rated customer service. Once you know, you Newegg!

              Sound activated.

Now the problem is where do i find Non-sound activated ones. NewEgg doesn't sell green non sound activated one, and computer shops around jersey suck. Anyone know any sites other then new egg or Tiger direct?

What I meant was that when you order them, you need to order a special type. I know the actual bulb isn't different, but I don't think they sell the inverter separately.

I get all of my cathode's from Newegg. My first gaming build is 4 years old now and still has the original cathodes running strong.

As for the sound, almost all of the lights on newegg come with the sound box, however, there are several settings on the box. The last setting letting you turn off the option to have to lights flicker.

As cheap as they are, you might as well just purchase the darn things and try it out. If it doesn't work, oh well, you got some cool lights to use somewhere else down the road.
