My computer won't boot into windows

So i'm just surfing the web and all of a sudden my computer crashes. So i reboot it and when its about to load XP, it crashes again. I'm able to run XP in safemode with no problems, so im thinking its my XP install or a virus thats the problem. Don't know which....if anyone has any ideas, please share :)

    Thanks

Edit: nvm, i now believe its my video card since it boots fine with my on-board video.

You could troubleshoot it, or if you have all your data on separate disks, just reinstall Windows. It's probably the fastest and easiest way to solve an issues due to corruption or viruses.

lol, its 100% my video card. I took it out of my comp and you can visually see the damage on the card.

      Thanks anyways Alex

I know, ive been needing one for like 4 yrs. At first it was because i didn't have the money, now its because i have a 360 that i play all the time so building a new comp wouldn't make sense unless i started back up with PC gaming. I will probably build a new one now. No more dual monitors for now

Edit: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=253157 This is a post by someone else about the exact same thing happening. Thats exactly what my card looks like now.

lol... seems to be a common problem with the 7600GT's.

                Fun stuff.
