    Win TV PVR 2 Help.

Well recently alot of my friends have gotten Xbox360's and we've been having many moments of lulz. No really, theres always something to laugh at. We don't wanna do the bootleg thing and put a camera infront of our screen for quality purposes. I've recently seen this capture card that I think may work when i plug my xbox into it. Pics here.

The thing is, this is pretty old. (2005ish) I don't know where the disk for the drivers are or how to record on this WHILE playing my xbox which is plugged into my PC screen with a VGA cable.

    My questions are as followed

    1) What programs do I need to record for this. Link please?
    2) How do I record while playing using a VGA cable, when this capture card uses composite cables (i have these)

    Help would always be appreciated.

OH AND DON'T TELL ME GOOGLE THE DRIVERS, BECAUSE I'VE ALREADY DONE THAT.

Did you look on the manufacturer's site?

I have no way of knowing if that's the correct driver, since I don't have the model number of your unit, so if I were you I would verify that that's the correct driver before trying it.

As for what programs you need, you can probably just use Windows Media Center.

That thing is meant to capture an analog tvsignal and store it as mpeg.
I have a similar product, just on an expansion card.
It uses something called "WinTV 2000" from Hauppage for recording

So you will need to have a PC running which then displays the input onscreen while recording.

But I expect that after all the converting, encoding and resizing, it will look like you were using one of the Old Xboxes

The reviews state that the VGA card need a tv-out signal for that to work, but I don't understand why you need the adapter

Don't you plan to feed a composite signal from the XBox to the converter, which will in turn feed the signal to you PC through USB. So there is no need to connect anything but the PC to the monitor.

So i'd plug my Composite cable into the xbox then the ends of it into a splitter. One end goes to the recording device, the other end into the Composite VGA adapter thing into my pc. I play and record.
