I know I did some research and all with my clan back in the days when BF2 came out with useless processors that are running in your background and not even doing anything useless except for doing harm and killing performance space, and speed, and memeory... I know I average about 50-60 processers and from what I remember the maximum you should have for a safe, and good memory is around 20-30 processors? What should I do about this.

Re: Overload on Processors ?
What operating system are you running? On modern Windows operating systems it takes about 40-60 processes to maintain a stable and functional system. Having less means that important processes and services aren't running. Having more means you have garbage running in the background.

Re: Overload on Processors ?
Maximize number of processors, minimize number of processes
If you have an AMD platform, then you could try AMD Fusion for Gaming.
Otherwise try reading tweakguides: http://www.tweakguides.com/System.htmlDesigned to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, the AMD Fusion for Gaming utility helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts. It works by temporarily shutting down background processes and intensifying processor performance with AMD Boost. That means you can keep all the features of Microsoft® Windows Vista® ready for when you need them, but turn them off when you are ready to get down to serious business – gaming.

This is a good way to cut the fat out of your OS. He gives info on what everything does and whats safe to turn off.
I got win7 down to 40 and that includes xfire, steam, mouse and keyboard

Re: Overload on Processors ?
Ye I average 70 processes, I'm running on Windows Vista and in my background i got like these 10 extra folder that just came out of nowhere: things as pictures, videos, links favourites.
So roughly how much should I have and what should I slim it down to if anything?

Re: Overload on Processors ?
Decide ? what happenes if I come across to deleting one that I need will it reappear when I restart my computer. Because I really want to slim down 20-30 Processors. When I Check Processes I Got about 32, But when I look at my Services I Got about 100 of different Services. But yet again, It does Still say at the bottom of the task that I got 67... What do I do, and how does the services result in me having more porcesses

Re: Overload on Processors ?
So should i be worried about the services. I really dont understand why it only shows 35 proccesses, and then on the bottom bar say that I got 60-70, then with services I got 100-115
