So as you may remember (which you wont), I asked a while back for components to build a PC for under £400 - just the case + stuff in it, not the monitor. As the person I was going to build for (my dad) doesn't seem to wantme to build one now, I need to find a prebuilt tower for £400.
BTW this is not intended to be a gaming PC, although ofcourse performance is the main reason for the upgrade.... Oh, and it needs to come with a Windows OS, dont really mind which. Basically the best thing for £400, that can just be unboxed and used.
A quick flick on ebuyer gave me a few starting points...
1. Zoostorm Advanced Premium Desktop PC, Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVDRW, Vista Premium
2. Zoostorm Advanced Premium Desktop PC, Core 2 Quad Q8200, 4GB DDR2, 500GB SATA HDD, DVDRW, Vista Home Premium
^ Which processor would be best?
3. Acer Aspire M5201 Desktop PC, AMD Phenom 9650 X4, 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD, DVDRW, NVIDIA GT120, Vista Home Premium
Anyway, if you guys have better suggestions (not just ebuyer), please say, remember, I'm UK.
cheers
