    Music skipping?

I can't understand why. Whenever I change page on the Internet, my music skips and lags a bit. I am using the latest WinAmp with Otachan's ASIO plugin.

    Any ideas?

Tried a different player? Do you have any plugins on the browser using WinAmp?

No plugins in Firefox that is using WinAmp. It's weird, it seems to do it as well just under light system load, not just web browsing. I haven't tried a different player as WinAmp is the only one I have installed that uses ASIO.

Ah, the problem was I was trying to resample the tracks despite the fact my sound card already supports 44.1khz output. So, it was going ape **** on my CPU and HD trying to read, resample and output.

Seems Otachan's ASIO is dated, so I reinstalled WinAmp with their default ASIO holder and ASIO4ALL. Now works perfect

Ah, cool. I once messed up the sound out put settings in my mic options and caused my mic to go crazy when I talked.
