Meh. If I goof up and hand the merchant $100.00 bill for a $7.00 product when I had intended to hand them a $10.00 bill, do they claim "hooray, the difference is mine, mine, mein!" No, they will either point out that I'm trying to pay with a $100.00 bill, or give me the change I'm due.

Companies make honest mistakes. When a company makes an honest mistake, greedy kids and greedy adults behaving like kids are not entitled to 'winning the lottery' and costing a company thousands (and millions) of dollars that might affect its ability to pay people, provide them health care, etc.

If Dell* was behaving like Creative (mislabeling inferior parts) or whatever, then fine. Class action 'em and get recourse. But ffs, typos shouldn't be your personal ticket to "stuff".

*anyone remember the bad caps they (and a bunch of other co's) used about four years ago. it wasn't necessarily their fault, but they were willing enough to replace mobo's for anyone who was willing to send them in. they're not a company that sells great pc's--i'd certainly never buy one for myself--but they did what was right when they goofed it bad.
