    Need netbook info

    My sister wants to get a netbook for taking notes and stuff so she doesn't have to carry her larger laptop around. Unfortunately I know nothing about netbooks, so before I start my research I thought I'd ask you guys.

    Any suggestions, experiences, general info I should know?

      I don't get it. I looked up what a netbook is, but what's the difference between a laptop and Netbook?

      Heres a suggestion, if this isn't for gaming, use a mac. get the one that's really thin.

          A netbook is a lot smaller and cheaper than a regular laptop. The Macbook Air starts at like $1.5k so it's out of the question.

              My friend has one, and its ok. Starts at 299 USD ;d

                      I also read that.

                      You can always sign up for Verizon FIOS now. They give free netbooks away when you subscribe. :thumbsup:

                          Samsung NC10 apparantly is the king of netbooks..Or the newwer Samsung NC20..

                          it's cheap, extremely thin and shexy...And white...

                              The Asus Eee PC 1000HE seems to be the newest top popular netbook right now. Its got the slightly better cpu, 160gb hdd and a great price.

                                  I have an Eee 1000H. Can't complain really, and the battery life while watching a movie is 5-6 hours. Brilliant for long journeys.
