If there's data being written to the cache when your machine loses power, that data will be lost.

That's why I run it on my C drive but not on either of my data drives for fear of data loss. I don't even run "write cache"!

That's what uninterrupted power supply systems are for.

I generally don't care about UPS. I run all my important data on laptops.

....We've established this....That's why I told him he shouldn't use the option unless he has a battery backup.
