Re: I am perplexed.

It'll fit. They'll block all your PCI and PCIe 1x slots though.

Re: I am perplexed.

You should not have any size issues on the case. Likewise with the motherboard. I'd suggest not going SLI without checking if a single card is holding you back or not?

You are getting ripped off on the card...an HD4870 is cheaper..http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150394

Re: I am perplexed.

no the motherboard is capable of 3 way sli, and i already have 1 gfx card that i'm going to salvage. so i'm going to buy just 2 more.

I just want to know if it will block anything important.

Your PCI and PCIE 1x slots may be rendered unusable.

Re: I am perplexed.

What if i only put 2 Graphics cards instead of 3?

[Wizrdwarts]

Re: I am perplexed.

It'll fit then. Just look at the pictures of the mobo on Newegg....

Re: I am perplexed.

Wait... is there anyway i can have 3 graphics cards, and still use the other pci slots? Do i need a bigger case?

Will it work and block anything? if i have

and

Re: I am perplexed.

No the heatsinks/fans are to big and getting a bigger case would not work either.

If you 3-way SLI you would have no room for a soundcard, it would block the x1 and PCI slots rendering them useless. Plus what use is Tri-SLI unless your a hardcore bench marker?

Edit: Post 666 BTW

Re: I am perplexed.

Which graphics card are you going to salvage? I assume you realise you can't have an HD4850 in sli.

Re: I am perplexed.

The heatsinks on all the cards you posted are all 2 slots high, so they'll block the slot right below it.

He's trying to do tri-fire 4850s.

Re: I am perplexed.

yea... nvm... i think i;m just gonna get 1 4890.

Heres another question

Which is better
1 4890
1 4850x2?

Re: I am perplexed.

4890- the 4850 is too temperamental.
