    Price of Comp?

Is there any specific formulas or methods any of you guys use to decide what to resell an old computer for? I'm looking to sell my old desktop which has been sitting in the closet in the formulas and am unclear of a good cost. I have tried to look for similar set ups throughout the web but its always +this -that.

The comp im looking for a suggested price specs are:

    -Dell
-Intel Pentium D Cpu 2.66 Ghz
    -160 GB Hard Drive
    -2 GB RAM
    -nVidia GeoForce 7300 LE

I was thinking something along the lines of $500 for just the tower which has been restored to factory settings, Updated, and all Junkware removed.

Any help you guys can throw my way is appreciated. Wierd to price out due to the often changing hardware, etc.

I'd say with a case, you might get £150 for that... but no more... if that at all.

That sound pretty reasonable to me.

Cut that price in half and I'll send my old computer to you with free UPS 3 business day shipping:

          -HP m7100y Media Center
          -Pentium D 830 3.0GHz
          -160GB hard drive
          -2GB DDR2-667
          -no video card.
          -400W PSU, enough for 9600GT.

restore to factory settings, updated and junkware removed guaranteed. But I can't guarantee how long it will keep running.

check prices on craigslist, but I would say $200 max.
