    'New House, New Web'

Well, I'm moving house on the 26th June, and where I'm moving only has copper wire internet.. This is apparently very slow (we are currently @ 10MB wireless).

Me and my dad were wondering what other internet options were available? Such as satellite internet :0

    Currently:
    ISP: Virgin Media
    Speed: 10MB
    Connection: Wireless
    Router: Linksys

If I remember correctly, you get pings of 600 to boot.

Dig up the road and install fibre optics?

              Might cost a bit tho

Just takes getting used to, being on crappy net.
Even though i only get 2mb down and 256 up, i get better pings than most other people!

Ging3r is right. A 2mb connection seems bad, but based on todays games and real standards (not epenis size) its very functional.

As far as gaming goes, you may not see a lot of difference.

The only time you may see a decrease in performance is if a game server wants you to download custom files.
