ok i was playing cod4 today and wondered why i have been getting bad graphics lag every few mins and an avrage of 50-100 fps when i only just got a new card at christmas ati 4850. I thought it was just normal and deemed it an unfortunate fact of life but then it hit me when andehh said he gets like 250fps constant. I have a crappy monitor atm and have to play in 1024x768 Rez atm but i don't think that should effect it. Will be getting a new 22 inch samsung one on Monday.
The problem is any time i start my PC or try to open the ccc i just get this error:
I used to have an Nvidia card but switched to ati. I think i un-installed the old drivers and everything but cant be sure . I've tryed uninstalling the ccc and reinstalling it around 5 times now but it didn't help, i also installing the Microsoft.net framework i think it was (seen it mentioned somewhere) but didn't help. The Ccc used to work for a while but just decided to stop one day so i dunno really.
I heard andehh say that he gets like 250fps constant but i get nothing like that just seems like I'm on my old nvidia7600gs tbh. I had this problem with my 8800 before that i couldn't get thigh fps but i just sold it in the end and put the old one back in.
So can anybody help me sort this problem or where to start at because uninstaling the drivers ain't working.
Oh also i seen in my program files i have a Nvidia corporation folder but when i try delete it it says this:
Computer Specs:
Xp Home Edition 5.1 build 2600
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06
2560MB DDR2 Ram
DirectX 9.0
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 512Mb
In Drivers-In dxdiag it says main driver ati2dvag.dll
