well i havent heard of an update in a while, when i asked for help, pieman told me to come here and ask for what he downloaded. might as well just look for his thread

He's saying that Pieman fixed his problem by telling him to download the Realtek drivers.

So, yay.

yeah, i mite tell you, no use telling you to find the thread

Im using vista, and apparantly this has been a common problem where Singleplayer works perfectly but multiplayer crashes on startup

tried that first, no difference

Ill just wait. it did this when i first got Cod4, but after a while It worked

Try plugging a mic or headphones into the mic port, then start the game.

just tried that, didnt work
A couple of days ago, it started to just freeze up untill i press Ctrl alt delete, then it would crash
