if it was all unplugged and taken out of the case then you could. Nothing in there that a magnet would damage but its still not particularly advisable + if you can get close enough to the screw for a magnet to help then as mentioned before (even if it was takin the piss) a plastic tool of some kind would be of more help (still i wouldnt advise it).

Im actually quite amazed that you managed to get it in but cant get it out... pretty unfortunate

lol anyways, today i successfully managed to get the PSU out of the case i shook it a bit but then the crackling sound of the screw stopped i dont know if it fell from the PSU cause i cant find it :S i tuned on the PC and some funny sound came from the PSU gave me quite a fright so i took it to maintenance also am having my new procs and xigmatek cooler being put in, i told them bout the PSU and they will fix it...i hope they do.

Take it to an airport or hospital and get em to x-ray it for ya to find the screw :p

Im no X-ray technican, but wouldnt the metal case stop the x-ray from showing the insides?
