lol, if you can find a use for 2 4870's, then you've got enough cash to figure out how to cool them!

that 4870x2 is interesting, and apparently awesome, but not something I 'd pay real dollars for :)

So, $170 after rebates is pretty good for a 4870?

Well, myself i'm in the market, but I want either another 1 gig, or 2 gig card..I'm not quite sure if Crossfire will work great with having mixed cards..is: a 4870 1gig card and having a 4870 x2 2 gig card or having a 512 card, I'm not quite sure if the mix and match is a good idea
Althoe 3 gigs of video memory is pleanty and that is what im shooting for, it is after that the processor and bus speeds that will kill you from that point on for a long while ,....

Also I don't reccomend this but if you buy the older asus model , those are cheeper you can nuke the bios y flashing it with whatever bios you find, then u can rma it and they will send you a dk card that is worth more, I did it and well I had to wait but it worked, thus you will end up only paying around 160 for it
            LOL

Whilst they are more expensive, remember that the average income/wage is higher than in the UK which makes the product seem much more expensive.

It does have to do with income it has to do with what the money is worth tbh

the euro has a higher value over the dollar

Sort of, but I'm looking at the exchange rate and price differences and unless everyone there makes ~1.3x more £ than Americans make $, you're still always paying more for computer components.
