    Software incompatabilities, please help

    Here's my situation.

I recently purchased Tunebite. A DRM Stripping program. It installed a plethora of "High speed dubbing .." on my "Playback" and "recording" on my volume mixer thing. Which I don't really care about... But it's causing some incompatibilities with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. If I disable all of high speed dubbing things, MFSX opens right up. But when they're on, it won't open. It will give me the splash screen but will pop up with a window saying "This program is no longer responding."

So my question to you, how can I get these disabled so that I can play FSX, but still be able to use Tunebite (It goes ape**** if they're all disabled)? Because I DO NOT want to have to Right click- Scroll Disable/enable- each time I want to use FSX or Tunebite. Is there anyway to make them come on when Tunebite starts?

(Decided to use TGN as the Tunebite forums are relatively dead.)

in XP, I'd create a new user profile and only have the stuff I want running in an extreme circumstance like that.

dunno 'bout vista though. that's a howl new bawlgame. would it be possible to do separate installs--one FSX with tunebite (no high speed dubbing) under one login, and your high speed dubbing enabled on the other?

edited so i didn't look like such a goober for quoting op's whole message, lol

Err, not use Tunebite? Use some other simple "record output and encode it" program.

You do have the option to just legally download a better copy from illegal sources. I mean, come on. There are lossless rips on some Bittorrent sites of a lot of things. Better quality than the iTunes store, from what I've heard. In the USA, downloading it is absolutely legal.

I was stupid enough to purchase the $50 program. And I know there is no way I'm getting my moolah back. So I really don't want to be at a loss-loss. I'll try that separate user thing that was suggested. Sounds like it might work.

Different accounts did not work. Any other ideas anyone?

Also, is there anyway I can completely isolate the accounts? Like, say one using a diffrent driver from than the other, etc?
