CoD4 HELP!MP name limited characters

Hi. I have a problem with my multiplayer name in call of duty 4. I have joined BFE, and I can't have my full name shown in game. For example, the correct name should be [2]O|Pvt.BilaRiON, but it's [2]O|Pvt.BilaRi. I have tweaked the config_mp file with both notepad and wordpad but nothing. Also I tried changing my name with console commands "/name" but again nothing...Maybe if I try opening the config_mp file with another program like Microsoft Word, then it'll work?I hope there is someone who can help me.Thanks

There is a 12 character limit on names. I dont know of a work around for that.

What don't you just leave the O| off?

In the BF2 tourney we just play with our Division tags and leave our company tags off.
