I need to decide which game to buy, either [U]Left for Dead[U] or Fall out 3. Help! :hmm:

Fallout 3 = 100+ hours of SP
L4D = 100+ hours of MP

If you are looking for pure online play, get L4D. But Fallout 3 is an excellent game, so much ground to explore and the side quests are good. Main storyline is a bit weak but its easily overlooked when you have a look at the sheer vastness of the world, looks really good too.

But if you are looking for an online experience get L4D.

Well, I'm not sure because I played a little bit of Fallout 3 before and it was so much fun, but other people are saying I'll get more hours of fun out of L4D.

Just go by what me/frantic said... if you want an MP game get L4D, if you want an SP game then get Fallout 3... although L4D can still be played SP but I think you'd probably get more hours from Fallout 3 if you just used SP on L4D... but if you like MP you'd probably get way more hours with L4D... since there would be custom maps, clans that you could get into and join ladders etc.

Fallout 3 requires a lot of hours to do everything, if you've played Oblivion then it's kind of like that? (I haven't played Oblivion, but that's what my mate said...)

I personally would get L4D over Fallout 3... but that's because I prefer MP over SP... and the witch is awesome...

left 4 dead is one hell of an game ... when playing sp its kind of boring but when mp with some friends u can play for hours ... even though its kind of the same through the game its still fun when a horde of zombies comes rushing for you and your friends. Always loved fallout but multiplayed is my thing now so i say L4D

I would steer away from fallout 3, i have it and i didn't enjoy it.

The SP to Fallout 3 ends incredibly quickly if you're trying to plow through, but if you stick around and explore the world, it'll give you a rewarding experience. I must admit though; L4D is awesome for multiplayer.

I have both, massive fan of L4D, but much better if you have some chums to play with not so great for pubbing. As for Fallout I've not really got into it properly though it does look pretty expansive.
