I've an 8600 GT and DxDiag says it has "Approx. Total Memory: 2287 MB" :? but the 8800 GS page says it has only 384 MB ?

But then what's the 4096 MB for on the first page of DxDiag? Where it says "Memory:" - I'm sure that's the RAM part...

This card should have 96 stream processors since it's an 8800GS and not a 9600GSO, so not a bad deal at all.
Wow, I remember when you could get a 8800GS at around $50 USD ($35 if you were lucky enough to get the awesome deals), now the cheapest is $80 on Newegg, and that's for the 48SP edition. Cheapest 96SP 9600GSO on Newegg is $115.
